Careers with Ausco

Ausco Modular is a fully owned subsidiary of Algeco Scotsman, the global leader in modular buildings, with more than 6,500 employees working from over 280 locations in 37 countries. As a part of the Algeco Scotsman group, Ausco Modular has access to a range of global best practice methods, policies and procedures, as well as an extensive product development and innovation pipeline. Additionally, being a part of the Algeco Scotsman group gives our employees career progression opportunities outside of Australia.

At Ausco Modular, we recognize that each of our employees have different needs and wants, and therefore value different things in the workplace. We work hard to meet those needs. We offer flexible working arrangements, including paid parental leave, competitive salary and professional development opportunities that make Ausco an employer of choice. It’s important to us that you can see that your career is heading in the direction you want it to go and that you’re happy and engaged in the workplace. Additionally, we recognize the importance of giving back to the communities in which we operate.

At a local level, our branches are empowered to manage a local community involvement program, and actively raise money for local causes, support local sporting teams and other events through sponsorships or through joint promotion, and frequently volunteer their time to help. Because our community involvement program is operated at a branch level, we’re able to support causes that are close to our employee’s hearts, and all staff are encouraged to suggest an initiative they would like to support.

One of our most successful programs to date is our reconciliation journey. For Ausco, our journey commenced over 2 years ago, before being officially endorsed by Reconciliation Australia in June 2017. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was developed to foster respect and awareness of the cultural heritage of the traditional owners of the land upon which we work. At Ausco Modular, our success has been built on strong foundations: a great corporate culture, a set of values spearheaded by trust and transparency, and most importantly, high quality and engaged staff. Each day, our staff are empowered by our culture and values to make decisions that are in the best interests of Ausco Modular, as we build on the achievements of one another to achieve something great.
