Jeeralang consists of seven open cycle gas turbines with a total capacity of 450MW, and whilst one of the gas turbine devices was shut down for routine maintenance, EnergyAustralia engaged Ausco Modular to install a new office and administration space to accommodate their team on site.

The new building, consisting of nine modules, was craned into place over two days with initial site preparation works, building connections and the completion of external ramps and stairs totaling just six weeks on site.

The project was delivered by Ausco’s team throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, which saw extra safety and hygiene measures in-place to ensure the wellbeing of the team and contractors on site. The project was delivered early to the delight of the customer.

Well done to all involved.
