How a Coverflex Modular Walkway can benefit your next project

Technology and innovation have forced a change, delivering significant benefits to those who reap those benefits. Transportable building solutions are certainly no different in that regard. On a construction site, you need to make informed decisions that will conserve resources, deliver on those ever-increasing environmental requirements, all saving important dollars.

Our covered walkway solution, Coverflex, is designed to provide several benefits to your next project.

  1. Reduced set up time

We’re known for delivering a full turnkey solution delivered from day 1. Coverflex is installed the same day as your Ausco portable building and removed at the same time at the end of your project, streamlining the setup of your project infrastructure, saving you time and money. Cable trays are conveniently installed for electricians to lay their cables.

  1.  Scalability

With the capability to have flooring at door height (except toilets on tanks), covered space and accessibility access can be maximised. Moreover, installations require little prep work and remove the need for working at heights and crew to install a roof post-install.

  1. Sustainability and Environmental requirements

We help our clients deliver projects that are sustainable and have a positive impact on the environment. Coverflex is a recyclable solution, reducing waste and energy consumption. As with our transportable buildings, Coverflex is pre-built and installed at the same time as your buildings, saving a substantial amount of post-install time, manpower and supplies, which is so important when talking about waste and sustainability.

  1. Cost Effective

With inflation high, many companies are embarking on cost-reduction initiatives. You can lower project expenses by removing the need for a concrete path with timber roof overheads, installation and tear out costs, bin hire and tipping fees. Reduce the potential damage charged due to structures fixed to Ausco buildings & concrete splatter.

Assume installing other buildings with a Crane

In addition to the other floors add per Coverflex floor

Installation (30min 60T crane)                    $225.00 ea.

Block and Level                                          $200.00 ea.

Hire                                                             $300.00 ea. per month

6 Coverflex                                                 = 36 LM & 86.40 M2 (walkway and roof-overhead)

Hire for 6 Months                                       $10,800.00

Install                                                         $2550.00

Transport (3) Flatbed Semi’s)                    $1755.00

Demob/Transport                                      $4970.00.00 (Less Blocks)

Total cost                                                   $20,075= $557.00.00sqm

(A Concrete with Timber Roof Overhead can be up to $650.00+ M2 = 23,400 Install then Tear Out = $23,400+ Bin Hire, Tipping Fee gives an approx. cost of approx. = $48,000)
