Sustainable Site Solutions

Ausco Modular is more than just Australia’s leading transportable building hire company. We’re a complete site solutions provider creating sustainable, safe and smart spaces to work.

We’re committed to providing our customers with compliant site facilities with sustainability requirements in mind to achieve best practice in the areas of internal environment quality, energy use, water use, and resource efficiency.

RCLG Compliance Made Simple

Responsible Construction Leadership Group (RCLG) Site Facilities Requirements were workshopped within the industry and aim to uphold environmental and wellbeing considerations for contractors and subcontractors who often spend the majority of their careers working from temporary site facilities.

Complying with these is important, but it can be complex and time-consuming. To help you meet these new requirements quickly and easily, we’ve developed a simple and cost-effective solution – the Ausco ECO Upgrade option.

Ausco's range of ECO Upgrades takes the guesswork out of compliance. Options include:

  • Low VOC paint, adhesives and sealants
  • Insulation
  • LED lighting with motion sensors
  • Blinds or tints
  • Weather seals
  • Water saving taps
  • Security options
  • Hybrid generators
  • Solar energy solutions
  • Solar hot water/heat pumps
  • Battery storage
  • HVAC with 5-star motion sensors
  • Reusable furniture, and more.

Working Spaces with 360° Solutions

Get site ready with Ausco Modular's 360° Solutions range of products and services tailored to suit your space needs.

As the name suggests, it's all the requirements, add-ons, services and furnishings which provide your best space to work. Our goal is that by contacting Ausco, we'll get it sorted so all you need to focus on is your project at hand.

Sustainable Modular Solutions for a Fast-Moving World

Our smart spaces can be modified and reconfigured to adapt to the changing requirements of our customers and their stakeholders, with units easily moved or adapted as the needs of our customers and communities evolve. We continually reuse existing modules during their lifecycle, with refurbishment further extending their life without compromising on quality or performance.

At the end of their useful economic life, modules are either sold to further extend their lives or dismantled into components, with up to 96% of material recyclable. Ausco’s long-term goal is to retain the value of materials and resources indefinitely, with no residual waste at all.

Ausco’s ESG Strategy

Key principles for our ESG strategy are:

  • Loops within loops: Creating circularity of product and business
  • Sustainable infrastructure: Space as a service for where and when you need it
  • Operational excellence: Functioning efficiently and safely
  • Leading frameworks: Shaped and guided by UN Sustainable Development Goals.

ESG Goals and Initiatives

Goals specific to the environment are to reduce energy emissions 2.5% per annum for the next 5 years, reduce waste to landfill 30% per annum per unit and reduce water consumption 3% per annum.

These goals will be achieved by initiatives such as:

  • Efficiency audits
  • Utilising solar
  • LED lights
  • Reductions in fuel use on site
  • Use of rainwater tanks
  • Optimising vehicle use and offering electric or hybrid fleet vehicles
  • Branches participating in volunteering initiatives around Australia.
