Giving Back Where It Matters

As part of Ausco’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, members from our wider Adelaide team recently made the most of their Volunteer Leave by supporting the community at nearby Elizabeth Downs Primary School.

Bringing together employees from both service centre and manufacturing locations, the team came together united by a shared goal of giving back and making a meaningful, lasting impact. Throughout the day, our team worked collaboratively on a variety of improvement projects aimed at enhancing the school’s learning environments and outdoor spaces.

Our team focused on upgrading classroom acoustics to create a more comfortable and effective learning setting for students, constructing new garden beds to support hands-on and outdoor learning opportunities, and clearing the school grounds in preparation for future outdoor learning areas.

These improvements will help create engaging, functional spaces for both students and teachers to enjoy for years to come.

The day was a fantastic display of teamwork, generosity, and community spirit. To top it off, the school staff kindly provided our volunteers with a delicious lunch as a token of appreciation - a thoughtful gesture that was warmly received after a productive and rewarding morning’s work.

We’re proud of our South Australian team for their enthusiasm and dedication, and grateful to Elizabeth Downs Primary School for welcoming us so warmly. Initiatives like these reinforce Ausco’s belief in supporting local communities and making a positive difference beyond the workplace.
