Windorah Primary Health Centre celebrates first anniversary
The Central West Queensland town of Windorah recently celebrated the first anniversary of the community's state-of-the-art health centre.
Hosted by Central West Hospital and Health Service, the event recognised locals Sandy and Anne Kidd for their outstanding contributions to health, emergency, and social care in the community.
Delivered by Ausco the year prior for client Queensland Health, the modular facility includes four telehealth-enabled consultation rooms, an emergency treatment bay, a pharmacy, self-contained staff accommodation plus more.
With an ageing population and more visitors to the regional outback town, the new medical facility was a much needed addition for the community as it reduces the need for locals to travel elsewhere for high-quality care.
"Ausco's medical modular buildings ensure regional and remote communities have access to high-quality healthcare and that the medical professionals have facilities worthy of their profession", said Ausco Modular Business Development Manager Clint Cunial.
"We aim to deliver these buildings consistently, reliably, and to the highest quality."
