Modular construction is transforming how we think about architecture and the built form. Modules are manufactured off-site in a controlled factory environment and are then assembled on-site to create a cohesive structure. It is a construction method known for many advantages, including faster construction times, reduced waste, and improved quality control.
At Ausco, our vision is to create spaces where people and communities thrive. We build environments that foster growth, nurture talent and inspire futures.
Andy Davey, Ausco's Technical Development Manager and Project Director for Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Housing, boasts a rich background in engineering and manufacturing. Trained as a chemical engineer, Andy joined Ausco initially in an operational role, but his innovative spirit soon saw him transition to design, where he sought to fix processes and embrace new approaches.
Temporary modular buildings offer numerous advantages, such as a reduced environmental footprint, adaptability, and rapid deployment.
