The South Australian National Football League (SANFL) engaged Ausco Modular, its Official Modular Facilities Provider, on behalf of building contractor AAT Building to rapidly deliver a temporary solution that would restore full match-day functionality onsite within a tight timeframe.
Ausco supplied and installed a comprehensive modular facility package, including two team changerooms, an umpire changeroom, a gymnasium complex, a first aid facility, and a 14m ablution block with individual shower cubicles. The ablution block was transported from Ausco’s Darwin service centre.
The solution enabled the club to safely and confidently resume home games, ensuring minimal disruption to the season while maintaining player welfare and compliance with SANFL standards. It highlights the value of modular facilities in emergency response situations, demonstrating how quickly deployed, high-quality temporary infrastructure can maintain continuity for sporting organisations.

SANFL’s feedback was highly positive, noting Ausco’s quick response, “one-stop-shop” capability, and ability to guarantee a short lead time to help resume games at Richmond Oval.
As the project progressed, feedback from both SANFL and the club remained overwhelmingly positive. Comments received by Ausco included, “this temporary facility is beyond our expectations” and disbelief around “how quickly such a large project has come together".

Regional Sales Manager Brad Mather acknowledged the hard work and dedication of all internal stakeholders at Ausco in Adelaide, including the Sales, Administration, Construction, and Transport teams.
"If it wasn’t for all the hard work and commitment by all our team members, we could not have met the high customer expectations and short installation time. To mobilise and complete this size project including transporting buildings from Darwin to Adelaide, it is a credit to all involved."
